What is Wildfire Publicity?
Wildfire Publicity was started by Laura Claffey as LC*PR. Laura is a freelance publicist and does publicity for things music related: artists/bands, books, auctions, etc. Laura is a Belmont University graduate (2002), who interned for a year with an independent country music label and for a short period of time with a public relations firm. She has been doing full publicity since 2001.

What is Publicity House?
Publicity House was founded in 2002 by Sharon Eaves (Fan-Club House) and Laura Claffey. Publicity House offers full tour press that is affordable to artists of every status. For a "by-the-date" fee, we strive to put the artist's face in every form of media available in the touring area.

What will Wildfire Publicity do for me?
With the internet being what it is, Wildfire does a lot of work through that. In face, we are now sending a majority of press kits electronically (EPKs). We get your link and banner on websites, post to portals, maintain networking site pages, schedule interviews, and coordinate CD reviews with ezines, print magazines, newspapers etc. We even help you find stores to sell your cds in! We also send CDs to internet radio, overseas radio, and some of the smaller radio stations in the States. Wildfire Publicity can also re-write or offer guidance on your biography.

We also help out with finding gigs: clubs, fairs, festivals, etc. However, we are not booking agents, so we do not actually book the gig for you; we send you the information once the venue has shown interest. Once the show is booked by you, we contact the newspapers in that area to cover the show.

Basically, we do whatever we can do to create a buzz about your product!

What will Publicity House do for me?
A few weeks to a month prior to the tour date, we contact the media for that area. Sharon handles radio, while Laura handles print. We discuss different options with them: interviews, calendar listings, articles, concert reviews, and various promotions for radio.

How much will this cost me?
Wildfire's fees are very low and are on a per-job basis (i.e. just sending out a press release, writing a biography, or adding your music to portals), starting at $100. All are plus expenses.
Publicity House's rates are also very low - $80 per date (or $40 per date for only print OR only radio), plus expenses.
Ask around Music Row; you won't be able to find these rates!
